  • Greek Architects @ City of Athens Museum

The exhibition – an initiative of the Zographion Lyceum Alumni Association, sponsored by the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation - features photos of architectural works, original drawings, as well personal memorabilia of Greek architects who contributed to the shaping of the modern urban landscape of the city on the shores of the Bosporus in the 19th and 20th centuries.

In addition, a catalogue in three languages -Greek, Turkish, and English – which includes recent pictures of buildings as well as 13 scientific articles by Greek and Turkish academics and researchers on the Greek architects' bequest to modern Istanbul, is available.

  • Greek Painters @ Topkapi Palace
The exhibition Greek Painters of Istanbul at the Topkapı Palace, organised by the Topkapı Palace Museum and the Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul.

The exhibition, launched on May 23, is placed under the auspices of the Minister of Culture of the Turkish Republic and His All Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew

The exhibition, which runs through June 30, draws inspiration by the book Greek Painters of Istanbul by Mayda Saris, a tribute to Greek painters (Ottoman subjects) who were born or raised in Istanbul in the 19th and 20th century.

It brings to light genuine works by painters who contributed greatly to the Ottoman culture but on whom little can be found in present-day sources.
