He referred to the structural reforms being implemented in Greece and the results achieved so far, including a 5% budget deficit reduction, and social security and tax reforms. He further expanded on the Greek government's keen interest in promoting a "Green development" model based on sustainable development and renewable energy sources (RES), and investing in the various comparative advantages Greece has in the field. ![]()
![]() "We already have the outcome of the first call for proposals launched last February in the field of the renewable energy sources. Six (6) development projects have been selected out of twenty (20) submitted by organizations of BSEC Member States (Albania, Azerbaijan, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia and Turkey), as well as by BSEC Related Bodies (ICBSS and BSEC Business Council), by the means of a transparent evaluation procedure. These projects will be financed by the HDF with the total amount of € 400,000," Kouvelis said. |

The screening will be followed by a reception featuring some of the top Greek wines. ![]() The festival closes with the world premiere of Burning Heads by Giorgos Siougas, and the Orpheus Awards ceremony. The festival will be held at the Laemmle's Sunset 5 in West Hollywood, while the closing night at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills. |
